It’s my job to tell the story from the best possible angle, in the best possible light with the most striking frame.

The frame is handheld, static, not shaky – just floating. The morning light finds our subject seated on the couch.

What happens next?

Pull focus? Move towards or away? Is the frame better low angle or high? What if I move so the subject is backlit? Does the close up or a long shot better express their intent?

A refugee- free from detention, gangs brawling on the street, boats gently rocking on the water, watching paint dry!

All these stories; their genres varied, can be captured in many ways.

In my experience and what I do best is – cinematography lead by the narrative.

This is my love and passion!
